GLOBAL BUSINESS NETWORK (GBN)
2003 Scenario Book
Objective: Bring a 145-pg annual deliverable into a form that was engaging, visually evocative, and most-of-all readable.
Process: I acted as a production manager, coordinating writers and editors, and directing an illustrator to produce over 30 graphs and charts. The 4-color book also contained images of a 5' x 7' signature work of art which I commissioned from San Francisco collagist Jason Mecier. The art was used throughout, reflecting themes in the text.
Result: "This book is so well formatted, I was able to read it in an hour, even in PDF form. A great result." Doug Randall, GBN senior practitioner
"I was telling Lynn how much I enjoyed the new scenario book especially the design work and its general appearance and feel. I worked on the first scenario book in Shell over thirty years ago: what a contrast! Many congratulations!!"
