Another Sunrise is a work-in-progress, a small quiet self portrait, the first game I've ever made about myself: My morning routine as honest as possible, how even the smallest trivial every-day moments can be a hurdle for me, how I can become hyper-aware or paralyzed with indecision. And yet every morning is ultimately the same.
I'm also attempting to make something that has a sense of real, of genuine, of a soul. It uses 3D scans of my body - what does it mean as an animator to animate my own body digitally when I do it physically every day? And what does it mean to give that control to someone else?
In a way, I'm making this because the idea and the process of development makes me feel extremely uncomfortable and vulnerable.
Scanned, rigged and animated my own face and hands
